BOIYC Boat Hire Protocol

This protocol must be followed before any boats are hired, thank you

Safety Boat Day Hire

​

1. Contact Boats Manager Thomas 0284118171 to see if the boat you want is available and in good working order. (if it’s last minute and you can't get hold of Thomas Contact Club Captain Pete 0272840404)

2. Before taking the boat out you must pay for it by making a direct payment with boat hire as the reference into the yacht club bank acount.

3. Send a screenshot or some type of proof of payment to Thomas.

4. Once returning the boat let Thomas know if you had any issues.

Sailing Boat Day and Season Hire

​

1. Contact Club Captain Pete 027280404 to see if the boat you want is available and in good working order. (if it’s last minute and you can't get hold of Pete Contact Boats Manager Thomas 0284118171)

2. Club captain will decide on the cost for the season depending on the coaching program and situation.

3. Once returning the boat let Pete Know if you had any issues.

Hiring a Sail Boat to go to Regatta

1. Contact Boats Manager Thomas 0284118171 to see if the boat you want is available and in good working order.

2. Before taking the boat away you must pay for it by making a direct payment with boat hire as the reference into the yacht club bank acount

3. Send a screenshot or some type of proof of payment to Thomas, This includes an away regatta fee of $15 - $25 as well as a $500 bond that will be refunded to you once the boat is returned in good condition.

4. Let Thomas know when the boat is back at the club ready to be used again

 

If you would like to hire a club sailing boat for the same night every week of a term

1. Contact Boats Manager Thomas 0284118171 to see if the boat you want is available

2. Pay the one off set fee (decided by Boats Manager) by making a direct payment with boat hire as the reference into the yacht club bank acount.
